Recovering stolen money.
Money taken by deception can often be recovered. Speed decides how much.
Right now
- Preserve everything: bank records, contracts, messages, account details. Do not delete or tidy anything.
- Do not tip off the wrongdoer. Every option is stronger while they do not know you are moving.
- If money moved recently, call your bank and ask them to attempt a recall. Funds are sometimes stopped in transit.
- Get advice quickly. Courts can freeze assets and compel banks to disclose where money went, sometimes within days.
What we do
We trace funds, obtain freezing orders over accounts and assets, and pursue recovery from the people who took the money and, where the law allows, from those who received it. Where accountability also matters, we prepare a police referral at the right point in the matter.
We will tell you early, and honestly, what is realistically recoverable and what it will cost to try. Recovery depends on speed and on where the money has gone; no one can promise a result, and you should be wary of anyone who does.
